    Para. 3b. The Humane Slaughter Act requires that all animals slaughtered in federal inspected meat processing plants should render unconscious to the process of slaughter.     However, this law is poorly enforced and does not cover chickens and turkeys nor does it cover ritual or home slaughter.

    1. v. 动词致使;造成 You can use render with an adjective that describes a particular state to say that someone or something is changed into that state. For example, if someone or something makes a thing harmless, you can say that they render it harmless.

    2. verb. 给予(帮助);提供(服务) If you render someone help or service, you help them.
