Language Points:
  1. feel nervous and completely forget the relevant English;
1)nervous: 紧张,担心 (compare with “ worried, uneasy, anxious, concerned)
nervous: 一般只有与缺乏而造成担心紧张
e.g. I was really nervous whenever teacher asked me questions. ( 老师问我问题的时候 我特别紧张)
worried: 由于害怕糟糕的事情发生而感到不高兴;担忧
e.g. Tracy’s parents were worried when she didn’t come home after school. (当特雷西放学不回家的时候,她的父母很担心)
concerned: 关心/为某件特别的事情操心
e.g. The current government is very concerned about the common’s lives. ( 本届政府十分关注老百姓的生活)
anxious:;有时可以和worried 替换使用,但anxious 可以用再名词前作定语,worried 不可以
e.g. The school tries to reassure the anxious parents. ( 学校尽力稳定住忧心忡忡的父母们)
uneasy: 不安/焦虑,特别是不太确定不好的事情是否发生
When there is a talk of layoffs, workers begin to feel uneasy. ( 当人们谈到下岗的时候,工人们就感到不自在)
2)relevant: 相关联的,有直接联系的 (before a noun/+to)
e.g. Do you have any relevant experience in journalism?( 你没有过相关的新闻业经历?)
Kids are not sure how school is relevant to their lives. (孩子们不清楚学校和他们的生活如此密切相关)
n. relevance adv. relevantly opposite. irrelevant (不相关的)
  2. at a glance: as soon as you see or look at something 一瞥;一眼
e.g. I recognized my long-lost sister at a glance. 我一眼就认出了我失散多年的姐姐。
He saw through our tricks at a glance. 他一眼就识破了我们的诡计。
at first glance: 第一眼
e.g. At first glance, the paintings all look the same. (乍看上去,这些话都一样)
