Chamber
maid: Good evening, sir. May I do the turn-down service
for you now?
Guest:Oh thank you. But you see, I am having some
friends over. I’m going to have a small party here in the room.
Could you come back in three hours?
Chamber maid: Certainly, sir.
I’ll let the overnight staff know. They will come then.
Guest: That’s fine. Well, my friends seem to be
a little late. Please bring me a bottle of just
boiled
water. I’d treat my guests with typical Chinese tea.
Chamber maid: Yes, sir. I’ll
bring in some fresh towels together with the drinking water.
Guest: OK.
Chamber maid: (Having
done all on request) It’s growing dark. Would you like me to draw
the curtains for you, sir?
Guest:Why not? That would be
so cozy
.
Chamber maid: May I turn on the TV and lights for you? It is quite late.
Guest:Yes, please. I’d like to watch TV while waiting.
Chamber maid: Yes,
sir. Is there anything I can do for you?
Guest:No more. Thank you very much for all you have done for me.
Chamber maid: I’m
always at your service. Goodbye, sir, and have a pleasant evening.
