Oh, dear! It is five times as large as St. Peter's in Rome. And it
is the largest and perhaps, I think, one of the most pleasing squares
in the world.

L: I think so. Look at that monument, it's the monument
to the People's Heroes.

L: The Square
is really very great. You see, that is Tiananmen.It stands in the
center of the city. On the west of the Square is the Great Hall of
the People and on the east are the Museum of the Chinese Revolution
and the Museum of Chinese History. Here you can trace the history
of China from its earliest beginning to the modern era.
