1. How do we find out whether we are over exercising or not?

Dr. Mirlin gives three warning signs indicating over exercise.
(1).Chest pains during exercise
(2).Heart palpitations when one is idle
(3).Unexplained dizziness.
If such symptoms occur, one should stop exercise and check with the doctor.

2. What should a person do to guard against the dangers of over-exercising?

The single most important thing is not to exercise at an intensity greater than your heart can stand and you should also allow your body a proper recovery period after vigorous exercise.

3. In what ways does exercise help one lose weight?

Exercise helps to reduce weight£º
(1) Exercise burns calories.
(2) Exercise makes food passes through your intestinal tract much faster, and as a result you absorb a decreased percentage of your food.
(3) Exercise helps to curbs hunger.

4. Isn¡¯t diet important in losing weight?

Yes, of course. But dieting alone does not keep the weight off. To keep healthy , one should take a healthful diet.

5. Can drugs improve one¡¯s performance?

No. the evidence indicates that drugs don¡¯t actually improve your performance, they just give you an illusion that you¡¯re performing better than you are.
