We can list the characteristics of Mr. Stone as following: (1) shy He speaks in a shy manner. (2) open-minded He treats his students as adults and encourages them to think in their own way. (3) formal and polite He addresses his students “gentlemen” . (4) a highly qualified teacher He knows how to teach his students in the best way. (5) passionate His lectures stir up the students’ enthusiasm for learning, and his tears at the farewell party show he couldn’t hide his feeling. (6) strict He is not satisfied with clichés in the students’ writing. (7) noble He believes in giving.
