Jazz has become the world over because of its unique style, melody and tempo. It is spontaneous, free-form energetic, brash, uninhibited and exciting. Moreover it keeps changing so as to be up to date. 2. Why do many young people prefer pop music to classical music? What kind of music do you like and why do you prefer it? Young people prefer pop music to classical music because pop music mirrors the characters of them which are energetic, informal. I prefer pop music because it can give me a kind of relaxation and further more because I don’t know how to appreciate classical music.
